To prevent the risks of infection, for the patients' and the staff's sake, we installed a sterilization procedure in accordance with current regulations. We ensure traceability for our medical devices.
Our practice was awarded the ISO 9001/2000 Certification in October 2006. Dr Alain Souchet is constantly updating and developing our excellence level through meetings, seminars and continuing education in France and abroad, with the assistance of the entire team.
Every instrument went through all steps of the sterilization procedure: pre-disinfection, cleaning, rinsing, drying, single use packaging to prevent any contamination by microorganisms, and sterilization (18 minutes at 134°C). The team is wearing single use gloves - a new pair for each patient - and protective eyewear. For each cycle, we pay a special attention to sterilization control by highly qualified personnel. An external certified lab is performing bacterial controls on any surface in the treatment rooms on a regular basis. Our goal: to maintain an optimal security level by a yearly reconditioning and a systematic preventive maintenance of the material. ISO 9001/2008 certification.
